Dr. Smith is a board-certified pediatrician who is currently working on a fellowship in Pediatrics Emergency Medicine at the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Ohio. After completing his residency at the hospital in 1998, Dr. Smith served for a year as Chief Pediatric Resident. He received his doctorate in medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1995, and his Bachelor of Science (With Distinction) from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 1991. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, and the Landacre Society (Medical Research Society).
